Barbie wants to be me
by Roza Sinaysky | 31.03.15When two of the greatest creative minds of Tel Aviv decide to collaborate there is a big chance the result is going to be uber cool. That’s what happened here, Comme il Faut concept store and design house joined forces with one of my favorite Israeli artists Jennifer Abessira and created a very Tel Avivian summer 2015 campaign. The collection titled “Barbie wants to be me” is a paradoxical idea based on how women (just like the classic sexy doll herself) are expected to wear uncomfortable clothes in order to look sexy, Comme il Faut fighting this idea and declare that even Barbie wants to feel comfortable in her clothes! According to this campaign us girls will be wearing less tight mini skirts and stilettos and from now on it’s all about Birkenstocks, sneakers and oversized dresses!
Intelligent wardrobe, shorts paired with a white shirt, a blazer and sneakers, this is so up my street.
Jennifer’s classic photo montages, exotic flower meets exotic drink.
B*** stole my look!!
Would love to see barbie and Ken in this outfit.
