You can’t even imagine how many images I go through in a day ( A Whole LOT! ) so when I see something that catches my eye I have the urge to share it, for instance this wicked editorial by a young Tel Avivian fashion photographer Rotem Lebel and her fab team mate stylist Moran Apter, this is what happened when these two walked into a carpet store, now just think of all the fun they had while shooting this!
“Creating this photo shoots was a part of our constant process of looking for exciting new ideas, it all started with me calling Moran, excited like a child telling her I have the best idea for a location, then we started building the whole concept around it, we choose the right trend we want to focus on, the model and the makeup & hair team”. Rotem Lebel.
“We tried to reflect the Telavivian culture which is a merge between the east & west, old & new, by using the antique Parisian carpets and western silhouettes and patterns”. Rotem Lebel
“The styling was a mix of high street stores like Renuar and smaller Israeli brands like Emma Boutique, Dorit Sade jewelry and international designers like Marc by Marc Jacobs for example”.
