Grunge for the people

by Roza Sinaysky | 13.08.13

Let’s go back to the beginning of the season when controversial designer Hedi Slimane presented his second collection for legendary fashion house Saint Laurent Paris. It was shocking for some, girls in fish net tights and super short leather skirts looking gloomy strolled on the catwalk to a crowd of bewildered faces. This collection wasn’t exactly a crowd pleaser at the time but now we can really see how it changed the face of contemporary fashion. This week I attended the seasonal Castro show and I couldn’t help but thinking of that new free spirited ‘Saint Laurent’ girl, full of attitude and depth, this girl is going to stick around and cause some trouble this season. You have been warned!

Your must haves this season: Fishnet tights, black nail varnish and an angry facial expression.

Sweatshirt and glitter – a match made in heaven?

Fierceness in a vest. Castro A/W 14

Please make me this outfit in real leather! Please!

Trouble maker. Boyfriend jeans, white shirt and matching socks and a bad ass jacket.
