How I wore it

One of the things I love about fashion is the challenge of transforming a catwalk look into an everyday outfit. Pulling off a full catwalk look, when you are not Anna Dello Russo, is a delicate case of possessing a sense of individuality, refined personal style and a very developed imagination. In the next couple of posts I will demonstrate these elements by trying to “pull off” catwalk looks from my favorite shows of this season, please feel free to comment on how you think I did.

I am starting with Dries Van Noten’s collection and his incredible ability to clash patterns, prints and textured without making his ladies look like crazed hobos. Now that is a complete brilliance.

Wearing a bold floral print on a light chiffon blouse, printed nylon trousers and checked tweed vest yet feeling very audible, it’s a fashion miracle! I added my classic Ray Ban’s from Erocca my Balmian watch and a light coat of Devil’s food lipstick by Mac to match the show’s beauty vibe. Dries Van Noten S/S 13 collection is available now at Helga Design (12 Hey Beiyar, Tel Aviv)
