My friend Julie

by Roza Sinaysky | 14.04.13

I met Julie on the fashionable streets of Antwerp back in 2005 when we both lived in Belgium (yes, there was a such time). Julie was then a fashion design student and a passionate intern and I was an enthusiastic savvy climbing the professional ladder, we clicked immediately. We both moved to London in a hope of achieving our creative dreams and our friendship blossomed. Julie went on working for major designers like Christopher Kane to name a few and in the same time kept on developing her own brand, slowly but surely. A couple of days ago I received a notification about her new A/W 13 collection and I couldn’t be more proud.

Minimalism by Julie Eilenberger.

My kind of uniform.

The campaign A/W 13

Julie’s version of a lady.

Ordering this must have jacket.

Tough girl in bubble gum pink.

Printed suit inspired by the Barbican building in London.

Shirt dress by Julie Eilenberger.

Julie’s Scandinavian (Danish to be more precise) roots inspired her to design a minialistic and a very architectural collection influenced by the nostalgic past and translated into a sophisticated present. I miss you Julie!!!
