In Rome with Delfina

by Roza Sinaysky | 26.01.13

When you’re a forth generation to the Fendi family and Karl Lagarfeld is your god father you are probably going to end up a very fashionable girl. I had a fascination with Delfina Delettrez ever since I saw a presentation of her jewelry in Paris a couple of seasons ago, I was so taken by her mystical jewelry. Mostly inspired by body parts, earthy creatures, animals, science and astrology. Delfina, a rebel at heart mixing unexpected materials like rubber and diamonds in her designs, her surrealistic esthetic makes her jewelry as she puts it “real ice breakers”. As part of my ongoing article for ELLE Russia I am in Rome visiting her studio, office and lab, fascination was worth it!
