Master of couture

by Roza Sinaysky | 01.12.12

Remember a few posts ago I dropped some hints I will be attending the Valentino exhibition?  Well, I did… And it was magical! The exhibition celebrates 50 years of the designer’s work. On display; gowns, coats and suits from 1959 to 2011 all beautifully curated by Patrick Kinmonth (who I regularly assist). The opening night was a very intimate event attended by fellow fashion designers like Stella Mccartney and Carolina Herrera, European royals (I got to joke around with a Greek princess) and some celebrity guests like Olivia Palermo and Liz Hurley. The exhibition is open until March 3rd so if you are around make your way to Somerset House !!!

The designer himself in a row of his own creativity.

The successors, the new designers to the House of Valentino, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli.

Some of the designs, placed  in a 60 meter long row.

The guests: Kristen Mcmenamy to start with.

Olivia Palermo and her beau.

Miss Glamour Liz Hurley.

And me!

Love your pst, but couldn’t keep my mouth shut… The person on the first celeb-pic: That’s not Christine Mckinley, it’s Kristen Mcmenamy…
